Important Dates

On Monday, December 1, 2025, Portland Local 8 FCU will convert to ILWU Credit Union. Please review the dates and information below so you are prepared for the brief service interruption required to complete our merger.

Important Dates
Friday, November 28 Access to Portland Local 8 FCU's Online, Mobile and Telephone Banking will no longer be available after 3:30 PM, PT, on Friday, November 28.
November 30 - December 2 You will continue to use your Portland Local 8 Debit Card through December 2, but ATM deposits and balance inquiries will not be available during this time.
November 30 - December 1 Co-op Shared Branches will be unavailable during this time.
Monday, December 1 The Portland Local 8 FCU Branch will be CLOSED to complete the conversion to ILWU Credit Union.
Tuesday, December 2 Conversion to ILWU Credit Union completed!
Tuesday, December 2 Call 800.466.0040 to activate and start using your new ILWU Visa Debit Card.
  • Be sure to update your new debit card number with any merchants or apps you have set up for automatic payments.
  • Add to your digital wallet on your mobile phone for quicker, secured access.
  • Your Portland Local 8 FCU Debit Card will be disabled on December 3.
Tuesday, December 2 Sign in or register to ILWU Credit Union’s Online or Mobile Banking.
  • Existing users, simply login using your current Username. You will have to reset your password. If your Username does not meet the requirements, we will provide you a temporary Username prior to December 1.
  • Download the FREE Mobile Banking App for Apple or Android devices.
  • Enroll in FREE eStatements through Online or Mobile Banking (access to see 6 months of prior statement history)
  • Re-establish Bill Pay payments and payees, Alerts, and automatic transactions set up through Online or Mobile Banking
  • Activate Zelle – You will need to add your phone number or email for Zelle in the ILWU Credit Union Online or Mobile Banking App.
Tuesday, December 2 Start using your ILWU Credit Union checks, if applicable.
  • Please use your full account number and the ILWU Credit Union routing number, 322283893, when setting up or updating direct deposit or automatic payment information.
